Since February is supposedly the month of love, I thought it was only fitting to have a prompt related to compassion. The purpose of this month's prompt is to try to add more positivity in your life and to be aware of the power compassion and empathy can have. It's to remember to be kind to yourself and to others. So, I challenge you this month to do an act of kindness or compassion, whether it be for yourself, someone you know, or a stranger. It doesn't have to be anything big and it doesn't have to be monetary. It could be as simple as giving your time, patience, and understanding. For example: On my way home from eating out with friends, I saw someone struggling, so I gave them my leftovers from dinner. Or I checked up on my friends from high school to ask how they're doing. Whatever you decide to do by the end of this month, please email it to leadership@aposdsu.org. Also, please, include a little reflection.
