The San Diego Domestic Violence Council is hosting a special kick-off event to spread awareness about domestic violence in our community. Volunteers will help hold up message signs during the opening ceremony. No one needs to speak and they will provide purple shirts, since that is the color for domestic violence. Slacks, skirts on bottom since they will be standing with high level officials.
