RECYCLED ART COMPETITION = 50 POINTS Bring your recyclable items from home or from cleaning up around campus and use it to build art! A few examples might include a mural made out of bottle caps or a metal tree sculpture made out of scrap metal. You MUST bring those items with you as well as tools in order to create the piece because they will not be provided. During the day of the event, you will have approximately 2 hours to assemble your art from the design that you have already created and submitted. The winners will have their art displayed throughout the week of GreenFest at various events! Participation Requirements: You MUST email a description of your planned design to greenfest.studentteams@gmail.com by April 17 at Midnight Your art piece MUST be less than 2 feet tall Please do not go to the store for paper or plastic bags. Reuse items you already have. Examples include scrap paper from old notes, Daily Aztecs, recycled cans & bottles, cardboard, old clothes, etc. Please practice integrity and do not purchase items and get creative with your recycled items! Judging: 50 points for participation. 1st: +30 extra points, 2nd: +20 extra points, 3rd: +10 extra points Judging is based on creativity, how well your piece was created and designed and incorporating either your student organization, SDSU, GreenFest, etc. with sustainability.
