The Splendid & Fabulous Portrait Extravaganza, Pt. II

Date: Nov 14, 2015 at 2:30pm to 4:30pm
Hello once again, everybody. Back by popular demand, it's the Splendid & Fabulous Portrait Extravaganza! This new episode will take place on Saturday, November 14th, at 2:30 PM – that's 1430 for our 24-hour clock enthusiasts. For the location, I'm planning on Balboa Park. There's a pretty cool spot that I think y'all might enjoy a lot. It's 2559 Golden Hill Drive. Be prepared for some locational improvisation if need be. The sun has promised to set at 4:48PM. Once again, it is imperative that we leave on time, so please be punctual. In an event of stunning symmetry to the last Extravaganza, we shall convene at Cuic. Our informational overlords at Google have ensured me that the temperature for our Extravaganza shall be a comfortable 75 degrees Fahrenheit. If you prefer to use the metric system, then please note that, in similar event of stunning symmetry, that it is equivalent to the amount of hours in one diem (24 degrees Celsius). This episode of the Portrait Extravaganza series will be very congruent to the last one, except this time, esteemed Xi class members Anthony Marino and Jake Pham will be shooting as well. Together with me, we form a veritable trifecta of thundering voices and robust rolling shutters. Like many things in life, there is more than meets the eye with this Extravaganza. There are many covert incentives to attend. First, there might be inter-chapter credit! Nothing in this world is promised, and that includes IC credit, so I am praying that the Rho Pi brothers come through. Hopefully we shall be able to behold the day's fading golden light bounce off of them and tumble into our own bright shining eyes. Second, you can use any of the photographs for any professional or personal purpose! This shoot is for YOU, so your wardrobe and pose options approach infinity. Like always, please adhere to sensibility, brothers. Third, you will most definitely learn something new. What you might learn is up to plain hypothesis at this point, but rest assured that the human brain, once expanded, never returns to its original size. For example, this past summer, while at Extraordinary Desserts, I mistakenly pronounced ""titration"" as ""tritration,"" and when I was summarily corrected by my companion, there ensued a distinct, notable frisson within my central nervous system. It was so lovely. I'll never forget it. Omicron pledges need not fear the approaching deadline for requirements. As you already know, if you sign up for an event ahead of time, it will count towards requirements, so sign up rapidly! Imagine you are the rogue bus in the classic Keanu Reeves thriller ""Speed."" If you slow down, you shall explode. If you prefer a lamniform-ic perspective, I once heard that sharks suffocate if they stop swimming. You are the shark, and the surrounding ocean of requirements is freezing cold indeed. Hope to see you all at the Extravaganza! When I listen to my heart beat, I think of you, and every beat sounds a lot like love.
