Hello, friends! For those who don't know, October is Filipino-American History Month, so if you're interested in Filipino culture, or maybe if you enjoy light refreshments at campus events, definitely come out to this one! This event is screening the documentary (it's only half an hour, relax) "The Delano Manongs: Forgotten Heroes of The United Farmer Workers Movement" there will be a panel discussing it afterwards, and there will be lumpia and empanadas. :D More info at the link below: https://www.facebook.com/events/871450786223537/ There is also an informal dialogue right before we see the film, and there will be light refreshments as we discuss some background info before watching the documentary.
