February 19th is the Day of Remembrance for Japanese American Incarceration. Learn more about Executive Order 9066, which ordered the forced removal and incarceration of Japanese Americans during World War II (1939–1945). Also, learn about Clara Breed, the San Diego librarian who wrote letters to children in the camps. We will give free books to attendees. We will also write letters to those detained by ICE.
