HII EVERYONE!! I'm so excited to share this event with you guys this semester! Life Rolls On will be hosting their infamous "Life Rolls On" event at La Jolla Shores on September 21st. A little bit about Life Rolls On: 6X US National Adaptive Surfing Champion Jesse Billauer, Life Rolls On is dedicated to improving the quality of life for people living with various disabilities. Believing that adaptive surfing, skating, and fishing could inspire infinite possibilities beyond any disability. A quick overview of the position: SHALLOW WATER Volunteer you will be helping the adaptive athletes get situated on the board, pushing or lifting (as a team) them out from shore, and catching them as they return to the beach. You also set the vibe, creating a sense of community and enthusiasm through cheering the athletes on every step of the way. This role is great for first-time water volunteers or those who want to be in the water but are not ready for mid-water. **IMPORTANT EDIT** Online Sign-ups for this event are now CLOSED! If you still wish to attend you can arrive at the event early for a walk-in registration. Just let them know you are a shallow water volunteer with ALPHA PHI OMEGA and they will do their best to keep you all together!
