MEET: Take Bellwood Exit 41 off I-99.  Follow PA-865 for 2.7 miles to Igou Road which will be on your right (the sign is small). Go 1/10 mile on Igou Road. Turn left into Bells Gap trailhead parking lot.  SUPPLIES: Dress to get dirty. Bring your own gloves and loppers, if possible. We’ll have extra. If the weather is too wet, Greg will cancel. THE PROJECT: Over the last two years, PSU Altoona students and others have removed non-natives and planted natives over the first ¼ mile of the trail. Today, we’ll be checking on our young plants, tending the protective tubes and cutting back the invasive non-natives.
