During the first chapter meeting of each month, I will be collecting chip bags of ANY size for The Chip Bag Project. Based in Detroit, Michigan, The Chip Bag Project collects foil lined chip bags to turn them into sleeping bags. Since the bags are foil lined, they are insulated, waterproof, and lightweight. After collection, I will send the bags out for them to be sealed together and lined with foam to provide cushioned insulated sleeping bags to help the less fortunate living outside to survive the Michigan winters. *If you bring me 5 chip bags of any size, you will get 1 service hour. *I will be capping this at 3 hours (15 bags)
