Holocaust survivor and author of the book I am a Star: Child of the Holocaust Inge Auerbacher will tell her story in Eisenhower Auditorium on April 2. I am a Star is the first of three autobiographical narratives detailing Auerbacher’s life during and after the Holocaust. Born to a Jewish family in Kippenheim, Germany, she spent ages 7-10 in the Terezín concentration camp in what was then Czechoslovakia, where approximately one percent of the 15,000 children detained survived.Tickets for the event are available beginning March 19 at the Eisenhower Auditorium box office, the Bryce Jordan Center, and the Downtown Theatre Centret.
