Help remove invasive plant species from Walnut Springs Park! Walnut Spring Park is right off of University Drive where it intersects with Easterly Parkway. All training and equipment will be provided, however bring your own water and snacks! Dress appropriately for the weather and wear water resistant/proof shoes, since we will be working in a wetland. Ticks have been seen in these woods, so it is recommended that you wear long sleeves and pants, and also insect repellent. Please meet by the HUB TV no later than 4:45PM. 10 volunteers needed, leave room for two drivers. If you have any questions you can contact Tyler Russell (aposervicepsu@gmail.com). Address is 843 Walnut Spring Ln, State College, PA 16801. (Once you turn onto Walnut Spring Lane, go to the parking lot at the end of the road)
