**PLEASE BE ON TIME TO YOUR SHIFT Help run the ETC Coffeehouse, which is a donation run, self-serve coffeehouse open to community. All donations go towards Wesley's food party and Illini Fighting Hunger. APO volunteers are crucial to helping the coffeehouse run, and creating a nice, welcoming environment for visitors. Some of your responsibilities are grinding coffee, making coffee (make sure to rinse out the old coffee before adding new liquid), washing mugs, sweeping the floor, wiping counters, and greeting visitors as they come in! There will be an updated volunteer manual coming soon to read BEFORE your shift. A laminated cheat sheet for opening and closing duties (depending on your shift) will also be on the counter. It is essential you are on time to your shift!! There will be buttons on the counter that say "Etc. Coffeehouse - APO volunteer", which you are encouraged to wear during your shift. As always, you are NOT allowed to be on your phone during your shift or wear headphones, BUT you are allowed to do your homework if you are finished with your duties. If you choose to do some work, make sure you CONTINUE TO GREET PEOPLE when they come into the coffeehouse! You must stay on top of making coffee, grinding coffee beans, if necessary. The main Wesley building is still closed to the public, but you can either enter from the main parking lot doors (just knock loudly and someone will be there to let you in) or you can enter through the Goodwin Etc. Coffeehouse door, which should be unlocked. If you have any issues or need immediate assistance at any point, you can find someone in the center office or near the parking lot doors.
